Whether you found me through the Goblin Mine, the Come Write Inn, or you’re not sure how you ended up here — you’re in the right place.
I’m RJ. I’m a worldbuilder who gave AI a seat in the studio — I run the universe; my little AI goblins run my errands.
That sounds like a contradiction until you spend ten minutes here. Then it just sounds like the only sensible way to make things in 2026.
What I Write About
Three pillars, one universe:
AI — practical, soul-intact, allergic to hustle-culture nonsense. The Goblin Mine is where I forge engagement tools for creative entrepreneurs.
Bots — chatbots, augmented reality, AI-powered experiences. The behind-the-build stuff. What worked. What broke spectacularly. What I learned so you don’t have to bump your own head.
Worldbuilding — the Come Write Inn is my creative home for writers, storytellers, and anyone who knows that “world” is both a noun and a verb.
Who I’m Writing For
Creative visionaries who want success without selling their soul. Authors, worldbuilders, unconventional entrepreneurs, and the rare AI-curious tinkerer who is secretly a poet.
If you’ve ever felt like the business world wanted you to flatten yourself out — and the creative world wanted you to stop caring about money — this is for you.
You don’t have to choose between the two.
Why I’m Here
I left a toxic corporate job, picked up a dual Master’s degree to keep my options open, and ended up making chatbots for entrepreneurs. Since then, I have become a professional rabbit hole diver. I have broken things and bumped my head a lot. I’m here because I believe AI engagement experiences can treat audiences with dignity.
My values: autonomy, authentic service, justice, and a deep allergy to anything that smells like bro marketing.
What to Expect Here
Behind-the-build stories — wins, wreckage
Bot experiments and AI strategy with the practical and the poetic both turned ON
Worldbuilding as a business lens
Star Trek references, D&D analogies, occasional Great British Bakeoff metaphors
No fluff, no hustle-bro energy, no gatekeeping
The occasional invitation back to the Inn
The Runway — my AI assistant does drag. Full costume, full scene, every work session. I have stopped trying to explain this rationally. Come watch. (Daily drops live on Notes, not your inbox — easy to scroll past if it’s not your thing.)
One Last Thing
The Come Write Inn is an experience, not a vehicle. It shows up for the creatively stranded — the ones who don’t yet have words for what they’re missing. Different travelers. Different doors. Same Inn waiting on the other side.
Maybe you haven’t been lost at all. Maybe you were just waiting for the right door to appear.
Welcome home.
— RJ
PS - We’ve also got a live community, because we’re even cooler in person.
Stop inn and see us sometime. 🥴
